I still hate the use of intentional/consciousness language describing these new models. It's argumentative to the belief "it's alive" when in fact, its just an improved statistical inference engine over the dataset.
There's nothing wrong with being the best statistical inference engine. It's a good goal. it's a better goal than being the first one to a mythical future.
